Willow breathed in the salty air as she walked along the port. Her ship had just docked and she had hopped off the hell trap as quickly as possibly. It had been the longest voyage she had been on in months. There had been countless storms, that rocked the the ship to the point crew members start vomiting all over the ship. You were lucky if you didn't step in a pile of the yellow colored mess during the day. Most of the food had spoiled because of the rain. Not that she ate human food, but if her prey didn't eat well the blood tasted worse than human food. To top it all off, Willow spent a good part of her horrible journey fending off the horny males on board. Like she would ever sleep with any of those idiots, please.
Willow shuddered at the memories and continued walking. The port hadn't changed much, which was saying something, she had been gone for decades. There were a couple of new shops open but other than that it was just as busy as it had always been. She remembered when she was little running up and down the piers with her sister whenever they got the chance to come down here. Growling, to herself she shook her head, the only thoughts she should have of her sister was the those of killing. She had been searching years and years for her lost sister and she would stop at nothing to find her. Any and all changelings she would destroy. They only ruined lives, nothing good came of them.
Rounding a corner quickly she tripped over a pile of cobble stones and landed on the ground face first. Mumbling angrily to herself she pushed herself before she could do anything a black cat launched itself into her arms. Running behind the cat was a group of rats. Well, this had been the weirdest journey ever. The rats didn't look to be stopping even though Willow held the cat. Pulling her eyebrows together in confusion Willow looked at the cat and then back to the rats. The vampire hissed showing the rats her teeth, the cat hissed right along with Willow, it was weird but it worked. The rats turned and ran. "Well, that was...different."
