- Although it isn't a power per say, Seregon's body is supernaturally enhanced to a degree beyond that of your average man and even vampire. Therefore such attributes such as his senses, strength, durability, reflexes, speed, and natural healing have been heightened to a remarkable degree.
- The Dark Arts - This is a power array he inherited by virtue of being a Demi-God son of the former God of the Underworld. He has honed it over the many years of his existence. Seregon can sense, communicate with, control, and create the various forms of corporeal and incorpreal undead. He can also drain the life-forces of others, induce decay, read the properties of one's blood, use blood for ritual magic, and cast curses on others. Seregon can control darkness itself to assist him in various ways such as hiding his presence, peering through darkness, traveling distances through shadow portals, or to attacking/restraining others with shadowy constructs. Finally, he can also freely move between the realms of the living and dead. However Seregon's power in these arts is considered diluted compared to his father's power given that he is only but a Vampiric Demi-God instead of a full-fledged Deity

PERSONALITY;;
First and foremost, Seregon is a domineering man obsessed with his gratifying his own ego and obtaining absolute power at any cost. For far too long he has stradled the realms of darkness and has mastered his vampiric and half-divine natures into a terrible weapon. His world view is skewed to the concept that the strong exist to devour and dominate the weak; and therefore anyone around him is judged by their direct worth to him. Those who are not considered capable allies or pawns are considered to be either unimportant peons or obstacles in his path to Godhood. In the grand scheme of things, all alliances and contracts with Seregon are considered temporary unless proved beneficial in the long-term.Seregon is a dangerous social predator who strives fervently to get what he wants He is willing to seduce, betray, step on, use, hurt, and kill others to fulfill his agenda in the mortal realm. He is no loner bound to concepts such as loyalty to honor; except perhaps to those worship or placate him. Lying and a silver-tongue are second-nature to him. Woe is unto those who cross him or anger him, as Seregons' determination and vitality make him a deadly foe even to the hardiest of warriors. However his obsessiveness and pride can often be his downfall; as many could point out his child-like temper tantrums when things do not seriously go his way. However Seregon is not totally lacking of honor, as he himself was once considered a great hero of Speirling.
Much like a spider, Seregon preys upon the weakness and lack of awareness in others. From one plot to the next he constantly weaves a web of intrigue to ensnare his victims, allies, and rivals alike. Even the Gods are made nervous by his machinations and treachery; a feat few have ever achieved.Seeking to change the cosmic order, Seregon believes in neither rigid structure nor random chaos. Therefore he can simultaneously operate with both long-term and short-term goals through fluid adaptation to unfolding events and methodical planning over many years.This makes him extremely hard to predict as he holds no preference for any one particular method whether he intervenes directly or relies on his network of followers. Thus what is most important to him is getting away with his crimes and accomplishing his will. Some would describe him as an ardent madman and conniving opportunist in these regards though others would describe him as an evil genius without parallel.
Despite his focus on domination and his power, Seregon sympathizes with the living, especially humans as he finds many of the Gods to be cruel and inept in their management of the cosmic order. This is because he resents the Gods for long-keeping knowledge away from the hands of mortals while also meanwhile introducing unfair concepts such as disease, mortality, and age to the world. These issues with viewing such divine authority as unjust in particular stem back to Seregon's hatred of his late father Morharan - the former God of the Underworld. However a frequent counter-argument is that many of Seregon's past actions have also done great harm to the world.
Amongst his flock Seregon carries himself as a fearless leader who shepherds his followers into the ways of darkness. He often speaks of great plans which will bring his "children" to unparalleled heights of power and wealth. As an egomaniacal elitist who views himself on the top of the food chain, Seregon doesn’t consider himself or his actions as crazy or evil. Neither do his many followers. Instead Seregon portrays himself as an unsung hero who has a set of different ethical standards befitting to that of a superior being who is neither beholden to the Gods nor mankind. Those who oppose him do so out of jealous, spite, or ignorance in his twisted mind.
Aside from his moral failings and bent personal philosophy, Seregon is not a person beyond social approach. On the contrary he can be quite sociable and devilishly charming although he always makes sure to cleverly mask his faults and conceal his true intentions with those not in the loop. Personally he maintains an outwardly gentlemanly demeanor,and has a sense of sarcastic and quick wit. His knowledge of civilization allows him to seamlessly blend in amongst various cultures and kingdoms; where he often portrays himself as a nobleman or bringer of enlightenment. Well-spoken and somewhat graceful, the ambitious Vampire Overlord is universally calm, collected, and seemingly always in control. He is intelligent and respectful to those he deems worthy but likewise standoffish to those he deems not. All the same, his cool exterior and professional attitude may turn some people away if they view him as too smug or elitist. He is somewhat capable of love and affection in his own possessive way, but only to one who submits to his manipulative whims and glorifies his ego. Finally, it cannot be denied that his many years of existence has afforded him a diverse array of magical and combat skills as well.
FLAWS;;
- Pride - Seregon doesn't take no for an answer and is obsessed with winning or being right regardless of the cost.
- Egomaniac- Seregon is quite high on himself and is capable of underestimating others. He also hellbent on becoming a God and conquering Speirling someday.
- Vamprism - Seregon is the First Vampire and has all the weaknesses of being such an unholy creature. He also subject to requires far more blood intake, than the average vampire though certain blood-types (such as noble, fae, unicorn, or giant ) can sustain him far longer than feeding from human commoners.
- Unholy Pact- Seregon has long engaged within a contract with the Gods who cursed him, stipulating that he cannot neither set foot upon consecrated grounds of their followers nor can he harm their followers pure faith who ward him away by invoking their Gods (such as through prayer or presentation of a Holy Symbol). In exchange Seregon has the potential to become a full God himself one day should he manage to gain enough worshipers of his own. The prohibitions of this pact do not extend to those created as vampires of Seregon however.
- Reputation -Though Seregon has attracted many of followers from across Speirling, his name is also reviled by the devout of worshippers of several"good/holy" Gods. Therefore his public image isn't always stellar in some kingdoms - especially in ones where his dark religion is banned and oppressed by authorities.
- The "Poison" - Seregon has to wisely select his victims for those he wishes to turn into vampires as not just anyone can survive his infectious bite. The average human would die from such a bite. This is most likely related to the fact that he is a former Demi-God and is the First Vampire. Those with unique or historical bloodtypes, or those strong in constitution are better equipped to survive the ordeal.
SECRETS;;
- Due to his mother's ancestry, the ancient Vampire Demi-God is actually a common ancient ancestor for many royals and nobles living throughout Speirling. This is fact considered impolite conversation in most kingdoms if it is brought up, as it is information often suppressed by royal historians. It is also likely that though he never married in his mortal life, Seregon could have fathered children with any number of women back in the day.
- Seregon wants to obtain Obsidian Stone to become the most powerful being in Speirling. He also believes that it belongs to him by birthright, as his father once possessed it.
- Seregon seeks to walk once more in the sunlight; and his studies of prophecy and blood-types have led him to believe that hybrid Fae blood may be the key.
- - Seregon often magically alters his appearance to fit in whatever Kingdom he is visiting. Therefore various cultures have their own interpretation on what Seregon may or may not look like as he has been described as a Man, Sidhe, Dwarf, and even Centaur at times.
- Among some circles it is said that Seregon may be willing to make dark bargains of various sorts at the cost of one's soul or some great service.
- Seregon knows of cure for vampirism, though such a remedy only works on those vampires who were turned by bite rather than by divine intervention or magic; rendering it useless for himself and others like him.
- Seregon is the First Vampire to be created, but not all Vampires can trace their descent back to him. Others have been cursed by the Gods in a similar way to Seregon for example; and some obscure tales suggest that some wizards have also toyed with replicating the condition...
- Contrary to the beliefs of some religions, Seregon doesn't actually reign over the Underworld like his father once did. He lacks the divine power to do so. Rather the Underworld has largely collapsed into chaos since Morharan's death and now only the souls of the truly wicked are imprisoned there.
- The disappearance of the Obsidian Stone, the murder of Eacharnach's previous king, the rampaging giant of Foirfich, and rising division within the Council of Spierling may be considered as prophetic signs which indicate the return and rise of Seregon once more.
FAMILY;;
- Morharan (former God of the Underworld, father)
- Amara (human mother)
- Various other Gods and Demi-Gods as brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, step-relatives etc.
HISTORY;;
- 3574 years ago the fearsome God of the Underworld, Morharan feigned great anger with the Kingdom of Eacharnach over disputes about not receiving proper reverence. The powerful deity of death threatened the land with great peril if he was not appeased.
- The human King of Eacharnach not only built a great temple in Morharan's honor, but also offered a hand in marriage of one of his beautiful daughters to the God of the Underworld.
- Morharan was pleased with this development and spared Eacharnach, and accepted one Princess Amara of Eacharnach as his mortal wife and took her to his Underworld Kingdom.
- It is from this coupling that the demi-god Seregon was born over 3573 years ago in the Underworld itself. He was given the title as the "Prince of Darkness."
- Seregon's mother Amara however was not Morharn's only wife by far, and Seregon was not his only offspring. Seregon merely had the distinction of being the only demi-god child of the God of the Underworld. This fact alienated Morharan from many of his divine and mortal relatives alike as he belonged seemingly neither wholly to neither the realm of the living nor of the dead.
- Seregon's relationship with his father started out as strained from an early age as it seemed that Morharhan was more concerned with being a ruler and god instead of being an actual father. Therefore care of Seregon was left primarily to servants and Princess Amara.
- From an early age it was recognized that Seregon was a child of great magical and physical prowess.
- As Seregon was raised, Princess Amara grew increasingly depressed by the gloomy atmosphere of the Underworld and deeply missed the beautiful lands of Eacharnach. However the possessive and cold Morharhan prohibited her from leaving his side much - barring her from seeing the realm of the living apart from brief rare visits. Fearing how the Underworld would affect her son, Amara pleaded that at least Seregon should be allowed to spend much of his mortal life in Speirling instead of the Underworld. Morharan surprisingly agreed.
- By his teenage years, Eacharnach thus became Seregon's home away from home as he spent much time with his relatives in the idyllic human kingdom.
- Due to his powers and inability to stay out of mischief, Seregon fancied himself as a trickster as a boy, though eventually Seregon's mortal advisors from the Court of Eacharnach were eventually able to eventually using his powers for just causes.
- During this era of history, the Kingdoms were in a far less advanced state and were at the mercy of terrible creatures such as Giants and Dragons. The Gods had a more direct hands in the affairs of the living for better or worse.
- By the time Seregon could be considered finally a man, he decided to set about traveling Speirling as a wandering hero who engaged in many adventures. Among most notable of his labors are known as the "13 Trials of Seregon." .
- At one point during his 20s, Seregon even managed to visit the Celestial Realm and other abodes of the Gods. His acclaim in the mortal world allowed him to meet God and Demi-Gods, where he made both friends and enemies alike. A few were able to impart some wisdom onto the young Seregon. From the Gods of War and the Hunt respectively he learned how to hone his skills as a combatant.
- In Eacharnach he was most remembered back then as a "Champion of Eacharnach" who would defend Eacharnach against aggressive monsters and warlike neighbors.
- By his 25th birthday, Seregon's mother had passed away in the Underworld. As a middle-aged woman, she died of neither of old age nor of injury. Rather she lost the will to live due to a broken heart due to having lived so many years of living in the gloomy Underworld.
- When Seregon came to the Underworld to mourn Amara, he sensed an air of indifference from his cold, overbearing father. For Amara was but just one of his many wives and was a mere mortal. He learned from courtiers that Morharan had little use for Amara no and would not resurrect her body due to his own personal code prohibiting such an act. Nor would he allow her spirit to remain at his throne side in the Underworld. This is because her famed beauty had faded with her melancholy and age.
- These revelations greatly embittered Seregon further against his father. Meanwhile it was obvious that Morharan had long grown jealous of Seregon for his accomplishments and praise amongst the living; especially as Amara loved her son more than she loved her husband. Yet the God of the Underworld also recognized that his son would be valuable to him as a Ferryman of the Dead on the River Deamharruin after the expiration of his mortal life.
- Disgusted by Morharan's cold-hardheartedness, Seregon disowned his father and resumed his epic adventures, He sought to avenge not only his mother but also try to "right" the many wrongs that gods like Morharan had inflicted upon the world. Seregon wanted a world where living beings had free-will irrespective of the machinations of the Gods.
- By this time, Seregon had long grown sympathetic with humans and other non-immortal species, as it seemed that they were ravaged by concepts such as disease, time, pestilence, and poverty. Death and suffering seemed to be just a means to further his father's power in Spierling. Seregon also feared growing old and becoming an eternal pawn of his father after death.
- Seregon also resented how some Gods forbade certain knowledge from reaching the hands of mortals. Seregon saw to it to release said forbidden knowledge into the world in the hopes of advancing civilization overall. Scholars believe that Seregon's actions may have had a profound impact Gaothaidh and Sgaithe respectively.
- By the age of 30, Seregon had devised of a way to exact his revenge on Morharan red the secret to killing a God after obtaining a special forged arrow from the God of Fire and Smithing and a specially brewed Ambrosia from the God of Wine and Merrymaking. By this time his knowledge of the Dark Arts grew to the point where Seregon believed he could usurp his father's throne.
- When the time came, Seregon feigned a gesture of reconciliation to Morharan and lured his father to the realm of the living. In Fiodh Forest in the Kingdom of Eachanarch, Seregon invited his father to a bout of drinking and hunting within the forest.
Needless to say Morharan fell into a drunken stupor and was shot dead by Seregon with an arrow to the heart.- In order to try and and conduct a ritual to become the new God of the Underworld, Seregon began to drank his father's own blood in order to ingest more of his divine essence.
- Seregon's act of patricide against his godly father did not go unnoticed as the death of the God was sensed by many deities within the Heavens and Speirling.
- The Gods of Light, Life, and Nature were particularly angered by Seregon's actions and also feared that his views on the cosmic order could inspire future rebellions with mortals and other demigods. They certainly did not wish to see Seregon become a God either. They swiftly descended upon Fiodh Forest and witnessed the dark blood ritual that Seregon now dared to perform. They cared not to hear Seregon's pleas or protests when he was accosted, and they promptly stopped Seregon from fully completing his ritual to become a God.
- Nevertheless Seregon still managed to achieve immortality; meaning that although he could be killed he could no longer age. His power in the Dark Arts also grew several fold, though his
- Seregon's unique crime was without precedent, and the three gods argued in length on how to handle the upstart Prince of Darkness. They held Seregon as their prisoner for months in the Celestial Realm, yet the Laws of the Gods forbade them from doing little else as they were not Morharan himself and they did not have the unanimous support of all deities.
- Meanwhile the Underworld itself collapsed into infighting amongst Morharan's former underlings. Several Kingdoms of the Damned were forged in areas where chaos itself did not reign. The Underworld could no longer become resting place for all the souls of the dead; and instead became a place where gods would send only the souls of the wicked and damned to be tortured and punished for their transgressions. The good and faithful however now had the option of being rewarded by living amongst the Gods or being reincarnated.
- Back on Speirling, Morharan's now rotting corpse and decaying sundered spirit had engulfed the whole of Fiodh Forest and corrupted into a gloomy forest potent dark energies.
- To prevent Morharan's decaying essence from seeping into the rest of Speirling, the three gods petitioned the God of the Sky to "bury" Morharan''s spirit into the cosmos. The presence of both Light and Darkness now emanating from the Sky then led to the creation of what is now referred to as "Night and Day."
- From Morharan's physical remains, his bones and flesh were transformed to make the moon and stars. These acts led to the creation and raising of new gods, demi-gods, and species.
- After seeing the magnitude of Seregon's actions first hand, the Gods of Light, Life, and Nature decided to curse Seregon with weaknesses respective to their portfolios. As a result he became transformed into the First Vampire. For drinking his father's blood, he was now ironically cursed to thirst for the blood of the living to satiate himself.
- Now forever doomed to walk the Earth as an unliving monster of terrible power, Seregon's reputation as a former Champion of Man was sullied by his new predatory nature and the spread of his condition to some of those he had bitten. Likewise to denounce his beliefs and actions, the three Gods ordered their followers to forever condemn Seregon in history as to make an example out of him for challenging their rule.
- In retaliation against these Gods, Seregon would spend the next six centuries raising a cadre of vampire disciples and human followers who would come to worship him as a false god. Meanwhile he would launch daring attacks to decimate the temples of enemy God's followers until all parties were forced to be brought to council before the other Gods. There a unholy pact was formed (see details in laws) that would allow Seregon the potential of Godhood should he gain enough followers.
- Ever since Seregon has been laying plots throughout history against his enemies and seeking ways to overcome the weakneses of his condition. Meanwhile his cult is on the verge of becoming considered a religion given that some liberal societies have begrudingly began to tolerate the Seregonites as long as they do not cause public mischief.
- Seregon has been slumbering for the past several centuries to date; awakened by omens and portents shown to him by his followers.
