PERSONALITY;;
Adriana is from a very rigid, traditionalist country and that has helped shape her personality. She is known to be very quiet and bright. Preferring to take in everyone in a room mentally before meeting them personally. She watches everything and tends to stay very observant. Her father has forbidden her from studying anything that has to do with running a country, for in his mind a woman is never a fit leader, but that has done nothing to quench her yearning to rule. She enjoys solving problems, and daydreams about a time when things could be different and she could rule her country as it's rightful queen instead of being a token of bargaining power to whatever country serves her father the best.

She loves to read, though she keeps it a secret from her father who believes she should only be studying things like charm and manners to attract a husband. Because of the large push to marry her off to whomever her father can use best she has largely given up on " love" and anything dealing with marriage. She doesn't like to think of her future, imagining the minutes of freedom she has slowly slipping away until she gets given away. She toys with the idea of running away, but doesn't ever truly consider it an option. She loves her country, faults and all but sometimes feels as if she has nothing she can offer it, or anything she can do to ever help it.

FLAWS;;

- She has been sheltered away from others for a large part of her life and therefore finds it hard to relate to others her age. She is friendly, but sometimes has no idea on how to make conversation with others, feeling mostly awkward around strangers.

- She has no fighting skills whatsoever and in a fight would literally be totally useless

- Does not believe in "love" or at least that she is entitled to it so she is usually cold towards members of the opposite sex.

- Loyalty to a fault. No matter what her father plans on doing to her or whatever her country forbids her to do she loves it and will always do right by it and them, even if it means breaking her own heart.

- Stubborn. Though she would never truly hurt her father she tends to not let small things go and has been known to do tiny things that he has forbidden her to do such as study and read.

Adriana's mother died giving birth to her, and initially her father was highly dissapointed in having a daughter, but he then comforted himself with the thought of being able to strengthen his nation by marrying her off. He began her studies early in charm, manners, and grace. Throughout her rearing he instilled their country's traditional beliefs that a woman's place was to serve her husband and make future princes and kings. Adriana grew up listening to his lessons, but keeping a steadfast yearning to know more, and want more from life than serving a man.

The years dragged on and throughout them her father has kept her almost hidden in the castle for most of her life, wanting to shelter her from things that could ruin his chances of sending her off. She begged him for years and years to allow her to study at Ioralta but he refused. Only at her nineteenth year, after a particularly bad meeting of a man who wanted her hand in marriage and was absolutely horrible did things finally start to come her way. The man was old, cruel and wanted her as a plaything not a wife. Adriana had refused to see him and cried and begged her father to turn the offer down. After a few days of endless crying and pleading from Adriana the King decided to turn down the man's offer, most likely because the union would not benefit the country very well, but Adriana hoped it might have also been because she was so against it. Her father had made a deal with her the following day that he would finally allow her to attend the University only on the premise that whomever he chose for her to marry she would accept without tears, and without a fight. Adriana quickly agreed and packed her things. It's only now at nineteen she finds herself being away from home and having a small taste of freedom.
