Rhoswen gazed down upon the landscape below her as Keir carried her across the evening sky, her long locks blown about behind her like a ribbon on the breeze. She knew Kara was down below somewhere, the white wolf was never far. With almost silent flaps of his wings, Keir started to dive slowly, his claws spread as he toughed down upon the earth. Black hair fell about her as it finally settled over her shoulders and along the black traveling cloak that protected her dark navy blue dress from the elements. She was only out of the school grounds because she was asked by the head master him self. Rhoswen slid from the saddle upon Keir's back and waited till he rested fully on the ground and Kara popped out from some under brush. With a smile the sidhe's feet touched the ground, and she welcomed the white beast with a friendly hug and a kiss to her forehead. Rhoswen's ears twitched the pointed tips once more hidden by her black hair as she looked to the darkening sky. The female sighed to her self, she should have left earlier but no she had let her fears and nervousness get in the way. Slim hands grabbed her skirts as she moved to create a safe spot for a fire before Keir decided to set the entire area ablaze. The heat of the flames touched her face as she pulled out some rations from her bag, setting it over the fire to warm before she settled into the large grey dragons side. She sat in silence as she ate that was until Kara reacted to a sound coming from the darkness around. The dragon that had once been sleeping was awake his silver eyes staring out into the darkness and a growl of a hiss was coming from him, his muscles tensing in preparation to defend Rhoswen.
The white wolf female rose from her resting position and snarled, hackles raised and fangs gleaming in the light of the fire. Rhoswen tensed in her seat and clutched Keir's scales as well as her messenger bag to her self. Her muscles ready to flea from the area if she had too as Keir and Kara dealt with the intruders. "Who's there?" Although her voice was nervous it was soft, and almost floated like music into the night.

It was a quiet night as Dedrallow walked by the edge of the river. He looked up toward the sky, wondering exactly why he was here. He was a traveler, of sort, and liked to go to different places. He never stayed in one place for too long. He stretched out as he turned and looked to his right, where his loyal companion and best friend Rouge happily trotted next to him. She was in the form of a large black dog, her tongue hanging out as she eagerly looked around. Dedrallow turned his eyes toward the stream, his eyes fixated upon it as he gradually made his way to who knows where. He looked toward the ground, silently counting the different kind of flowers that lay across the ground, it was getting difficult to see, but Dedrallow had pretty good eyesight.
However it wasn’t long before Rogue began to bark loudly as she ran ahead forward. Dedrallow snapped out of his thoughts as he quickly called out to her. “Rogue…where are you going?” He grumbled under his breath, as Rouge was known to bark at the simplest things and liked to poke her nose into trouble and it was always Dedrallow that always had to come to the rescue. However, when Dedrallow took a few steps forward he saw a bright fire and surrounding the fire was a girl, a wolf, and a dragon. He turned to Rouge who was staying very still, trying to figure what to make out of the situation.
“No one of importance,” Dedrallow said when the girl called out who was there, as he stepped into the light.

Rhoswen's breath hitched when it was a males voice that came from the darkness, nervously she stood, fingers hurting at their tight grip of the grey dragon's hide. She swallowed thickly as he came closer to the fire and yet still she could not see him fully. Kara's white fur stood on end and she let out a low growl at the dog before it turned to a snarl at the male, however the fangs no longer showed on the white wolf and her tail was almost tucked beneath her.
Rhoswen glanced at Keir as he tightened his tail around his body a brief motion to let Rhoswen know he was there. Rhoswen stepped away from the dragon, slightly but still very much within the male dragon's reach. "Kara, that's enough." Her voice was a soft command, which caused the wolf to tense slightly before she snarled once more as if telling the intruder to be careful before the wolf's paws and lean legs took her over to the the female Sidhe's side.
Rhoswen looked to the dog at his side, and smiled ever so slightly. "What's her name?" She asked him her eyes refusing to meet his before the grey dragon nudged her gently, almost making her fall in the process. "You can join us, if you wish." She offered him, as the dragon lifted his head and looked down at the male, silver eyes blinking before the dragon was getting comfortable and closing his eyes once more, one of his wings stretching slightly to give the girl some comfort. The white wolf was sitting down at Rhoswen's feet, staring at them but looking at the black dog with wonder.
A hand lifted to brush black hair out of her face and behind her pointed ear the motion showing off the bonding mark with the wolf, as she stood waiting for a reply from the male.

Dedrallow loosened up a bit when he realized that they weren’t planning on attacking, in fact he sensed that the girl was a little uneasy, but he couldn’t exactly pinpoint to exactly why. He turned and watched as Rouge, settled now, she wasn’t very temperamental and was in fact very calm so it would take a lot for her to go attacking anyway. He shifted his weight as he folded his arms, not quite sure what to do. Should he just walk away? However as he was standing there thinking about what to do, the girl spoke to him.
“Oh, her name is Rouge…” He said as he gave her a glare, as she slinked back a bit. She was always running off and sticking her nose into things that was none of her business. He sighed; he really should be used to by now, huh? “Sorry for intruding…” He quickly said in reply to her statement. He didn’t really feel as though it was right for them to intrude…it was not his place, plus Dedrallow wasn’t a people person. He would much rather be alone then mix with other people…however before he knew it Rouge had eagerly went over to the woman, wagging her tail happily.
“I guess I don’t have a choice now…” Dedrallow said with a defeated sigh.

Rhoswen took her attention from the male to the black dog that trotted happily to her, she waved Kara off as she leaned down to pet the dog. The fur was soft on the black animal. Rhoswen's smile widened a little more s rested on her knees, not caring if dirt got on her dress. "Are you hungry?" She cooed to the dog.
Rhoswen turned to grab some cooked fish that wasn't touched yet and held it out to the dog. She seemed to forget that Dedrellow was even there, her attention completely on the dog she was cooing over. Rhoswen glanced up to the male before blushing slightly some of it out of nervousness and some of it out of embarrassment. "If your hungry you can take the last fish." She murmured before dragging her attention back to the dog, a light to her bright blue eyes that wasn't there before when she was speaking to him. A slight fear replaced it when she looked from the dog to him before the light returned when her attention went back to the animals.
"Rogue aren't you a pretty one." She cooed before answering the unspoken question that she received from the animal. "I am Rhoswen, it means white rose. The dragon is Keir, and Kara is my canine companion." She said in a low tone, but still being heard over the sounds of the night and the river.

Rouge happily wagged her tail and barked in reply when she asked her if she was hungry. Dedrallow rolled his eyes at this, because Rouge was always hungry. She could eat anyone out of house and home if given the chance, but he didn’t say anything. Rouge seemed to trust this stranger and therefore he couldn’t complain, for Rouge had a good sense of someone’s true intentions. Rouge turned her attention back to Dedrallow when the female had asked him if he wanted some fish. Dedrallow shook his head. “No…I’m alright…” He said. He sensed that she was just being kind and that she probably didn’t really mean what she said…she seemed much more comfortable with Rouge then she did with Dedrallow near.
“I’m Dedrallow,” he said in a mater-of-factly tone. Rouge then shifted into a cat (a perfect animal to eat fish) and happily grabbed the fish from the girls hand before curling on the ground and began to chew at it. Dedrallow didn’t pay attention to his companion’s sudden change. He turned and looked back to the woman. “Am I that scary?” He asked her, sensing her nervousness. He had his sword that was in its sheath that he carried on his back, but it wasn’t as if he was going to attack or anything, if he was going to, he would have already done it by now.
“I’ll pray for that…” He said as he pointed to Rouge eating the fish. He didn’t like to take things from people, even more so when she mentioned it was her last fish. Dedrallow reached in his pocket and pulled out a few coins and reached out to hand them to her.

Rhoswen watched in amazement at the changeling companion Dedrallow brought with him. But she stroked the cat's head before standing up properly. At his name she nodded, her lips set in a small smile. "Hello," she was distracted when the dragons wing brushed her back and made her step toward the male, only stopping when she was standing in front of the male. Righting her self she looked at the male, and shook her head in a no fashion at his question before her voices was coming from between her lips. "No, no, your not scary." She paused and absentmindedly brushed a hand along her leg as she moved it as if she was hiding something.
"Something happened to me not too long ago, thats all and i am nervous around males in general. But I'm working on it."She said in a tone that was less nervous then before, the slight shy attitude was slowly morking its way out of her system. When he moved to give her money, she shook her head again, black hair floating about her at the motion, a hand raised to remove her bangs from her face and tuck them behind a pointed er. "No it's fine, i got them from the river and i'm finished." Rhoswen answered as she politely curled his fingers back around the coins and pushed them back toward him.
Rhoswen looked down at Kara as the wolf slowly and tensely approached, tail tucked between her legs as she brought in the smell around the male before the female wolf relaxed, even un-tucking her tail out from between her legs and she pressed her nose into the male's thigh.

“Oh okay that’s good…because you know…” He said with a shrug of his shoulders, not quite sure where he was going with the statement. He shoved the coins back in his pocket and took a step back. He still refused to take any of her fish, so made no attempt to do anything about it. He shoved his hands in his pocket and stood there. His eyes darted to Rouge who finished up the fish and stretched out near the fire and curled up in a ball, lost in her own little world. He looked down when the wolf nudged at his thigh. He gently bent down and petted the wolf.
“You know wolves are great companions,” he spoke to no one in particular, just stating info out loud, “but dragons are mighty beast. They are pretty rare. Many hunters try and to kill them for eating their flocks.” He then lifted up his head and looked at the girl, giving her a look as if he actually forgotten that she was there. Sometimes he just got lost in his own thoughts and his own words that he sort of zones out the rest of the world around him.
“So umm…” what could he possibly say? He wasn’t really good with conversations , so he wasn’t exactly sure what to say or what to do.

Rhoswen stepped back slightly, and watched as the wolf leaned into the attention she was receiving from Dedrallow. The female sidhe listened to the male speak about wolf companions and then start speaking about dragons. At the comment he brought up Rhoswen turned to look at the dragon with a brow raised, "is that why you crash landed in front of the academy a few years ago, injured?" She asked the grey scaled male.
Keir glanced at her with silver eyes before looking up at the night sky as if he was ashamed at being caught. Rhoswen narrowed her eyes and started scolding the beast in the language of the Ancients. The grey beast seemed to growl softly at some moments before she glared at the animal at one particular comment.
The female stopped suddenly before blushing, the colour warming her face just as the fire gave it a orange glow. "Sorry..." she murmured to the male. Kara licked the males petting fingers, her tail wagged slightly against the ground almost like a dogs as she took as much attention that she could.
Rhoswen moved to sit down in her spot against the dragon, before looking at Dedrallow, offering a seat across the fire. "How did you come across your changeling companion?" She asked, her tone curious as her blue eyes eyed the black feline content by the fire.

“No, that’s okay,” Dedrallow quickly said. He had not studied the ancient language because it was mostly used by sidhe’s only. He, however being somehow related to them and considering how long he has lived has picked up a few words here and there (probably more then he would let on) but he never used it. Personally he believed it was a death language and thought it was best that they would forget about it, but of course he probably would be hated if he actually brought this thought out loud. He carefully sat down when she motioned for him too, still hesitating or not.
“She’s been with me for about four hundred years,” Dedrallow stating, having a hard time imagining how long it actually been since he first got acquainted with her. Time sure seemed to go by quickly. “I don’t remember exactly when…” that was a lie. Dedrallow remembered exactly what had happened for him to acquire Rouge…but that was something he hadn’t told anybody. “I just found her one day, and she’s been with me ever since…” He spoke calmly and collected as he gave her a reassuring smile. Rouge stretched out and yawned.
“She’s a rare breed,” Dedrallow said, which was almost true, but Rouge was defiantly one of a kind. He turned and looked back toward the woman; he sure was chatty today, at least compared to normal.

Rhoswen could tell the two were close, and it brought a happier smile to her face at the tone of his voice when he spoke about the rare animal. She blushed though realizing the male was much older then her 123 years, she felt like a child in front of him. Which she probably looked like and acted like with her fear.
Kara made a huffing sound as she laid out, her head landing on Rhoswen's lap, the blue eyes being hidden by white lids. Rhoswen pulled her cloak around her, huddling into its warmth. "Kara was abused by a hunter before the school rescued her. While in the care of someone else, she didn't attach to anyone until i decided to see if she would attack me to, but she didn't. She's been stuck to my side ever since." She said softly running a hand through the white fur of the female wolf's head.
Rhoswen stared off into the fire for a minute, "Where are you headed?" She asked him as she let her fingers dance through the white coat.

Dedrallow listened intently as she spoke how she got her wolf; it was the polite thing to do, right? Dedrallow looked down and noticed was now lying down at his side. He didn’t know where he would be without Rouge at his side. “It’s always good to have animal companionship…humans just cause drama,” he spoke not looking directly at her nor was he speaking directly at her, once again he was just pretty much thinking out loud. He turned away when she asked him where he was headed. That wasn’t a simple answer, for Dedrallow had no answer.
“Nowhere in particular,” Dedrallow stated, “I was born in Teumnach, but I’ve been wandering around for a long time now, probably for almost as long as I’ve been alive.” He said as he turned and looked back at her. He was a free spirit and he couldn’t settle in one place for too long, plus how exciting was that? He couldn’t imagine staying in Teumanch for as long as he has been alive, that would surely have driven hint o an early grave (even though he was immortal)

Rhoswen might have been shy and nervous of him but the sidhe knew when people weren't telling the whole truth considering, she taught students almost every day. But she let it slide, who was she to ask him his secrets. Considering she had her own, it was only fair not to ask. Rhoswen blushed just the slightest bit at the thought of how old this male was but she didn't voice the question. "I've never left the Academy since my parents died.Till now that is." The female shrugged as if it wasn't a problem. "But i was born in Eacharnach."
Rhoswen stared into the fire, her memories from her childhood popping up before the female was shaking her head and tucking her self closer to the dragon and wolf beside her. She looked back at him and tilted her head in curiosity. "In your travels, what is the weirdest thing you have seen?" She asked him, generally curious about what he has seen on his travels.

“The weirdest thing I’ve seen?” Dedrallow paused for a moment as he let those words echo in his mind. He had been traveling all his life, so there was a lot he had seen and done. He had lived in every city (some of them several times) he had been to numerous places and had seen both wondrous and disastrous things. It took him a moment to sort through his memories. He turned away for a second, getting lost in his own thoughts. He then turned and looked back at the girl, not sure if he felt envious or sorry for her being stuck in one place for so long, but perhaps she liked it.
“I have some really odd things,” Dedrallow told her, “once time I saw a Kelpie that was actually afraid of men,” he said as he sorted through his mind. He remembered that day. The young girl was an outcast in her family because she couldn’t successfully drag a male into the bottom of the lake. “and then one time I saw someone who was missing a hand and an eye – but was able to successfully climb a tree…or another time I saw a whole village that worshiped their shadows.” He paused after a second as he turned and looked at her.
“I’m not quite sure what your standard of weird is though….”
((That’s quite alright (: I was away anyway xD ))
