For someone who clearly wasn't an equestrian, Zoran found her adept at pulling herself onto his back and holding on for dear life. He didn't dole out the privilege of riding on his back very often, and it was only the situation that warranted it. Usually only his favorite whores got to ride on his back...and in other places. Now was not the time to think about his favorite whores, however; now was the time to gallop as fast as he could, which was pretty fast, now that it was mentioned.
Gathering his haunches underneath him, Zoran shot off at top speed, his powerful hooves pounding into the dirt as he ran, his mane flying out behind him, probably into her face, but he barely paid attention; all he was focused on was getting away from the twister. It didn't seem to be working, however, in fact, it appeared to him that the twister was following them and only them. This could only mean that it was enchanted and someone had probably paid good money to have it enchanted, which meant that someone wanted one or both of them done in...and by a twister, apparently. The unicorn knew that the only way to defeat a magic tornado was with more magic.
"Hang on..." He told Faye as he slid to a halt, spun himself around and lowered his horn at the offending tornado before he took aim and let a strand of bright yellow energy loose at the twister. His unicorn magic and the tornado collided and both exploded spectacularly, a color and light show accompanied by a sound like thunder. As the ashes settled around them, Zoran knelt again, signaling for Faye to dismount. Even his favorite whores had to get off his back sometime.

When Faye stumbled off of Zoran's back she collapsed into a shaking, sobbing heap as memory after memory pounded her from her carefully concealed memory bank. Tears spilled down her cheek as she vividly remembered the terror she had felt all those years ago. She had tried so hard to forget, but now something else had happened. Wasn't it enough that she had loss her entire family and that she had been constantly abused instead of loved and now a tornado? It shook her to the core. She couldn't imagine why someone would hate her. In her short seventeen years she had never been mean to anyone, not even when those people and children at the orphanage had hurt her. Didn't that count for anything? As she wept, she felt a wet, tongue licking across her face. Immediately she knew it was Ghost. Wrapping her arms around the wolf's neck she cried like a baby ignoring the fact that Rain was still missing and that the unicorn, Zoran, was standing there. After crying for what seemed like hours, Faye finally felt as if she couldn't cry anymore. Wiping her eyes and nose with a handkerchief she had in her pocket, she blinked and looked up at the majestic creature that stood before her. "I'm really sorry, Mr. Zoran. You didn't ask to be brought in to this and know I fear that you have been. You see there is a possibility that I am cursed or that someone doesn't like me, or maybe I'm just super unlucky, but I think that its probably the other two. Even though I have never done anything to anyone maybe I just wasn't supposed to be born." At this point, Faye had started crying again. "A-a-nd....I..ca-an..unn--ddeerrssttaannd i-if y..-ou...w-wanna leave, b-but I r-really d-did w-wanna b-be f-friends." Shoving her face in her hands she resumed crying until she felt something sharp land on her shoulder. Looking up through her tears she saw Rain perched on her shoulder. Smiling despite her tears she slowly petted him. "Oh, Rain...you're ok." Smiling she slowly got up and picked up her extra clothes that had dropped from her lap when she had gotten off of Zoran. Stuffing them into her pack she nodded at the unicorn with tears brimming in her eyes and started to walk away with Ghost following her and Rain on her shoulder. Inside she kind of hoped the unicorn wouldn't want her to leave and would follow her.
